Thank you for using GymLog. Your privacy matters, and this policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.
GymLog is a simple workout tracking app. It does not collect, store, or share any personal information about you. All workout data is stored locally on your device and never leaves it unless you manually choose to export or back it up.
GymLog does not collect any of the following:
Your workout logs such as exercises, sets, reps, and weights are stored only on your device using a local database. We cannot access this information.
If you choose to manually export or back up your workout history, the data is shared only with the service you select (e.g., Google Drive). The app does not upload or process backups automatically and does not access your files.
GymLog may include an optional feature that allows you to support development financially. Donations are handled by Google Playstore billing system. GymLog does not collect or store any payment details.
GymLog uses Firebase Crashlytics (part of Firebase) to collect anonymized stability, crash, and performance reports that help diagnose and fix app issues. Crashlytics may collect information such as app version, device model, OS version, stack traces, and limited usage context when a crash or performance issue occurs. Reports are transmitted to Google and processed according to Firebase's privacy policy: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
GymLog does not use other third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, or user tracking. Crash and stability reports do not include personal identifiers (such as names or email addresses) unless you explicitly enter that information into the app and include it in a report.
If you prefer not to send crash or analytics reports, you can opt out by disabling analytics on your device or by uninstalling the app. For more details and controls, consult Firebase documentation linked above.
The app collects no data from users of any age, including children under 13.
All data remains on your device. You are responsible for securing your device (screen lock, password, encryption). GymLog never transmits your data to external servers.
You control all data directly. You may delete all app data at any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.
We may update this policy occasionally. Any changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
